This service shows you your IP address. We use Google Analytics to see how often people use the service. We don't log IP addresses, track users, or collect personal information. The whole point is to be a simple, transparent IP lookup tool.

What This Service Does

tdtiblii.bid provides your current IP address in various formats (plain text, JSON, JSONP). When you visit the site or make an API request, we return your IP address to you. That's it. We don't store it, log it, or do anything else with it.

What We Collect

Google Analytics

The about page uses Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns. Google collects:

Which pages you visit
What device and browser you're using
General location (city/region level)
How you found the site

We use this to see if anyone actually uses this service. We don't tie any of this to your identity.

What We DON'T Collect

No IP address logging - Ironic for an IP lookup service, but we don't store your IP address
No request logging - API calls aren't logged or tracked
No user accounts - Nothing to sign up for
No email collection - We don't have your email
No cookies - Except Google Analytics cookies (see below)

Cookies

Only the /about page uses cookies via Google Analytics. The actual IP lookup service (tdtiblii.bid root, /json, /jsonp endpoints) does not set cookies.

How the Service Works

When you make a request to tdtiblii.bid:

Your browser/client connects to our server
The server reads your IP address from the connection headers
The server returns your IP address in the requested format
Done. Nothing is stored or logged.

Opt Out of Analytics

Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or use a privacy-focused browser.

Use the Service Anonymously

Use the service through a VPN, Tor, or proxy if you want to hide your real IP address. The service will just return whatever IP you're connecting from.

Data Retention

We don't retain any data because we don't collect any data. Your IP address is returned to you and immediately forgotten by the server.

This service is operated from the United States. If you're accessing from the EU or other regions with stricter privacy laws, your local laws may give you additional rights.

If we change how we collect or use data (spoiler: unlikely since we don't collect data), we'll update this page and note the date at the top.
